| Kevin's Dragon 2001 - I met Kevin Clark in 1995 while showing some of my drawings to a local business. Kevin loved fantasy art and we became good friends and he later introduced me to famous artist Larry Elmore. Kevin loved dragons so I did a pencil drawing of a dragon for him. We kind of lost touch with each other and in 2001 I was going through some of my old sketches and came across the preliminary dragon drawings I did for Kevin. I decided I would do a painting of it and surprise him at Christmas. I finished the painting and drove it by Kevin's home but he wasn't there, so I kind of put it on the back burner and forgot about it. Tragically, Kevin's life ended in 2004. Life can get hectic and we're all busy, but we need to make some time to be with old friends. I would give anything to be able to go back and visit with Kevin and give him the dragon painting I never got around to giving him. Kevin was a very encouraging and inspirational person in my life and I really miss him.
